i have yet to fire the weapon with the new 40 SW barrel, when i receieved the barrel the fit was a little off, however, that was fixed with a little light polishing using my wifes fingernail buffing board, LOL. Seriously, worked like a charm. The only reason i''m not giving 4 stars is because of the lenth of time it took to get my part. Shipping was very quick though, when it was shipped i got it with in two days, nice. Visual inspection of the barrel is impressive and my local dealer/gunsmith was also impressed. I would recommend to anyone who is not a gunsmith such as myself, to have an expert check your weapon,for safety reasons,after any upgrades or changes you make to your weapon and before you fire it. Always use common sense,good judgement when dealing with fire arms. Accidents can be prevented.
