I received the back ordered barrel and found it to be a barely reasonable product for the price. The alternative was an original one made by Remington but for a lot more money.
Upon inspection, I noticed a few areas left unpolished and a couple of spots where the bluing was either bad or altogether missing.The metal is about as thin as they can get away with and still tolerate 12 gauge pressures.I bet it would dent more easily than a Remington barrel.
Since it is for a HD set up, I don''t care much about the cosmetics. I put a coating of EEZOX on it inside and out and am not worried about rusting.
It was a good alternative to cutting down my perfectly good 26" Poly Choked bird barrel.
